Who Needs This

Is This Service
For You?

If your name, date of birth, or any other detail in your EPFO records doesn't match your Aadhaar or official documents — GCA will correct it.

Your withdrawal is blocked by a name mismatch

If your name in EPFO records doesn't match your Aadhaar exactly — even a single extra initial or different spelling — your KYC will fail and block every withdrawal attempt. A Joint Declaration corrects this at the root.

Your date of birth is wrong in EPFO records

A wrong DOB in your EPFO account blocks pension eligibility, retirement withdrawals, and KYC verification. GCA files the correction with supporting documents and follows up with EPFO until the record is updated.

Other details like father's name or date of joining are incorrect

Errors in father's name, date of joining, date of leaving, or gender in EPFO records can cause transfer and withdrawal failures. GCA identifies all discrepancies and corrects them in one Joint Declaration filing.

How It Works

Our Process
Step by Step

We handle everything from start to finish. You don't need to visit any office or follow up with EPFO yourself.

1

Free Initial Consultation

Call us or WhatsApp — tell us your situation. Our expert will review your UAN, check your EPFO records against your Aadhaar and official documents, and identify every discrepancy that needs correction. No fees, no forms, no office visit required.

2

Record Comparison & Discrepancy Identification

We compare your EPFO records against your Aadhaar, PAN, birth certificate, and other official documents to identify all discrepancies — name spelling, DOB, father's name, date of joining, gender. We correct everything in one filing rather than piecemeal.

3

Joint Declaration Preparation & Filing

We prepare the Joint Declaration form with exact corrections, supporting document references, and employer co-signatures where required. Every detail is verified before submission to ensure first-time EPFO approval.

4

Employer Co-ordination & Approval

Joint Declarations require your employer's signature and portal approval. We co-ordinate directly with your current or previous employer's HR department to get the declaration signed and submitted — even when employers are slow to respond or the company has closed.

5

Confirmation Once Records Are Updated

We confirm once EPFO approves the correction and your records are updated on the portal. Typical timeline is 15–30 working days from submission. Once corrected, your KYC, withdrawal, and transfer requests will process without any further hurdles.

Documents

What You'll
Need to Share

You don't need to gather anything in advance. Once you call us, we'll tell you exactly what's needed for your specific case. This is a general checklist for reference.

Good news: You don't need to courier any originals. GCA handles everything digitally — you only need to share clear photos or scans of your documents over WhatsApp.

Why Joint Declarations
Get Rejected

Most correction rejections are avoidable. GCA audits every document before filing — catching mismatches before EPFO does.

Aadhaar and EPFO Name Don't Match

The correction you submit must match your Aadhaar exactly. If there's even a minor difference between the two, EPFO will reject the Joint Declaration without processing it.

Wrong Supporting Documents Submitted

EPFO has a specific list of accepted documents for each type of correction. Submitting an unsupported document type — even if it shows the correct details — will result in rejection of the Joint Declaration.

Employer Not Signing or Approving

Joint Declarations require employer co-signature and portal approval. If your current or previous employer delays, refuses, or doesn't know the process, the correction stays pending indefinitely.

Multiple Discrepancies Filed Separately

Filing name and DOB corrections as separate requests causes confusion at the EPFO level and often leads to one or both being rejected. All corrections should be filed together in a single Joint Declaration.

Correction Doesn't Match Aadhaar Exactly

The corrected name or DOB must be character-for-character identical to what's on your Aadhaar. Even a missing middle name or different date format will cause EPFO to reject the request.

Previous Employer Company Closed

If the correction relates to a previous employer who has shut down, getting their co-signature for the Joint Declaration seems impossible — but GCA knows the alternate EPFO process to get corrections approved without a defunct employer's involvement.

Has your Joint Declaration been rejected? GCA can still resolve it.

My PF of ₹4.2 lakh was stuck for almost 8 months due to a name mismatch. Girish bhai resolved it in less than 3 weeks. He handled the joint declaration and all follow-ups himself. I didn't have to visit EPFO even once.

My Aadhaar had a different spelling of my name than what was in EPFO. Every withdrawal attempt was failing because of this. GCA filed the Joint Declaration, co-ordinated with my employer, and got the name corrected in 18 days. Superb service.

My father's name was entered incorrectly by my first employer 15 years ago. It was causing a mismatch on every form I filed. GCA identified this in the first call itself and corrected all the linked records in one Joint Declaration. Outstanding.

I had both my name and DOB wrong in EPFO. GCA filed a single Joint Declaration covering both corrections together. Previous consultant had filed them separately which kept getting rejected. GCA got it approved in one shot in 22 days.

FAQ

Frequently Asked
Questions

Common questions about PF withdrawal — answered clearly.

Once the Joint Declaration is submitted with all required documents, most corrections are approved within 15–30 working days. The timeline depends on how quickly your employer approves the request on the EPFO portal and your regional office workload. GCA follows up throughout until the records are updated.
If your current employer refuses or is unresponsive, GCA co-ordinates directly with their HR department to explain the process and get it resolved. If your previous employer has shut down, GCA uses an alternate EPFO process that does not require the defunct employer's involvement — your correction can still be approved.
In most cases, no. If the mismatch is causing KYC failure, your withdrawal attempts will keep getting rejected until the correction is approved. GCA always corrects the underlying record issue first — which then allows the withdrawal to go through cleanly in one attempt rather than filing and failing repeatedly.
EPFO accepts Aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, voter ID, and driving licence for name corrections. The corrected name must match your Aadhaar exactly. For father's name corrections, additional documents like birth certificate or school leaving certificate may be required. GCA will tell you exactly which documents are needed for your specific correction.
Yes — and this is actually the recommended approach. Filing all corrections together in a single Joint Declaration is faster and more reliable than filing them separately. Separate filings often conflict with each other at the EPFO level and get rejected. GCA always bundles all required corrections into one clean submission.
No. Joint Declarations are processed entirely online through the EPFO unified portal. GCA handles the full submission digitally — you only need to share your documents over WhatsApp. Physical visits to EPFO are only needed in extremely rare legacy cases involving very old records from before the UAN system.
Once filed through the EPFO portal, most withdrawals are credited within 7–21 working days. The timeline depends on your EPFO regional office workload and whether any queries are raised. GCA tracks the claim throughout and resolves any hold-ups immediately.
